About Us

The Resource King was established by Karen Bailey as a sole proprietorship on January 31, 2006 and incorporated as The Resource King International, LLC in 2008. Ms. Bailey owns 100% of the company stock and is the Chief Executive Officer. The Resource King is headquartered in a Hub-Zone and operates its business incubator, A.A.C.E. Business Career (Training) Center, in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Resource King’s experience includes working with public, private and non-profit sectors to develop and implement strategic, innovative and global solutions to ensure M.W.V.B.E. utilization and compliance.

Ms. Karen L. Bailey, President of The Resource King, has a Business Management degree from Old Dominion University, formal government contract training and over 18 years of hands-on experience developing, implementing and managing efficient and cost-effective small business and diversity-based solutions. Ms. Bailey has a successful track record of outstanding performance, quality deliverables, customer satisfaction and proven results. She serves as Principal Consultant on all of The Resource King’s projects.

With a history of working successfully with diverse, public, private and non-profit clients, The Resource King’s team members are degreed, seasoned professionals with backgrounds in management, finance, communications, client relations and project/program management.
